Well we didn't get as many people as we had originally hoped for - primarily due to the amount of work that we all had on at University. Unfortunately that was the only date we could book. However a fun time was still had by all those that did attend.
The main game played was Half-Life CounterStrike (which Megaman kindly donated his server to act as a dedicated server for CS), closely followed by Unreal Tournament.
Mercenaries PC kept crashing intermittently (much to the amusement of everybody else!). He later found that this was caused by a compatability problem with the AMD CPU, Windows 2000 and the Nvidea graphics chipset - he will be ready for the next LAN Party!
Frequent trips were made to and from the local Tescos so no-one starved.
On Friday night the other half of the Rugby club was filled with the juniour teams parents - they had a meeting regarding the future of the club, etc. Some of them did look quite interested in what we were doing (they may not have actually understood what we were doing...) but we couldn't get them to participate.
On Saturday morning we all packed up, tidied up and went home - and then went straight to bed!
